Director of the Department of Anesthesiology, Rambam Medical Center and professor at the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. Previously served as the Director of the Department of Anesthesiology, HaEmek Medical Center, Afula, Israel where he established the pain clinic service. He was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology, Hermann-Memorial Hospital of the University of Texas, Houston. Main area of research is the pharmacology of anesthetic and analgesic agents in the central nervous system heading a basic science laboratory with MSc and PhD students/graduates.
